Joe Scarborough is a former United States Congressman, serving from 1994 to 2001. He has also been the co-host of MSNBC's “Morning Joe” since 2007, alongside Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist. As the first Republican elected in his Florida district since 1873, Scarborough was re-elected three times in landslide victories and served on key committees, including Judiciary, Armed Services, Education, Oversight, and National Security.
“Morning Joe” is the most-watched cable morning show – beating all other cable competitors in August 2023. The program has been called “hugely successful” by The New York Times, “better than anything else on morning TV” by The Baltimore Sun, “appallingly entertaining” by The New Yorker, and ranked one of the best shows on television by The New York Times. Mediate has also praised the program, noting that it “has no peers when it comes to influencing the influencers.”

Scarborough also hosts “Joe Scarborough Presents” on MSNBC, a series of primetime specials under the expanding “Morning Joe” brand. The specials feature interviews with top entertainers and newsmakers, including President Biden, President Clinton, Robert Downey Jr., and director Christopher Nolan.
Scarborough has been named one of TIME 100 most influential people in the world. He and Brzezinski have been listed by Vanity Fair as among the most influential in media and have been inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame.
